Located a mere 19 miles west of Boston with a population of 17,669 Concord, Massachusetts is a small, sought after community with a lot to offer. Steeped in history, the initial battle of the Revolutionary War (the Battle of Lexington and Concord) occurred in Concord. Furthermore, some of the most important American literary influences have trace their roots to this small, but affluent community. Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Bronson Alcott, Henry David Thoreau, Louisa May Alcott were all well known Concord residents. As a result, this led Henry James to nickname the town of Concord as, ‘the biggest little place in America.’

Transportation in Concord is simple. The community offers two MBTA stops on the Fitchburg Line and the Yankee Lines. In terms of the education provided by the town, it does not get much better than within this neighborhood. The Fenn School, The Nashoba Brooks School, Concord Academy and Middlesex School are all private schools for either preparatory or primary levels.

Residents in Concord benefit from notable areas and points of interest such as the Concord Museum, The Old Manse (former home of Emerson and Hawthorne), Egg Rock, Minute Man National Historical Park, Walden Pond, Wright’s Tavern, the Concord Free Public Library, Fairyland Pond, and many more.
